Een marine-officier (Garner) is gestationeerd in Londen tijdens W.O.II. Zijn voornaamste taak is het recruteren van dames ter vermaak en ontspanning van zijn superieuren. Hij valt voor één vam de Engelse dames (Andrews) en er ontstaat een romance.
